For this special International Women’s Month feature, we asked select female employees from our PH Service Delivery Team how CloudCFO has helped them manage their careers while fulfilling their personal responsibilities. “I grew up without younger siblings, so I had to take on a leadership role, often being the one to guide and mentor those younger than me. It helped me practice empathy and compassion with younger people since I was the youngest. I’m really happy with my teammates—they feel like family in Team Gryffindor. I get to work with people I like—my friends. Even though the job can be stressful, I always try to cheer others up and make the most out of my onsite experience.”

Work-life balance at CloudCFO is great. Weekends are off, allowing time for myself and my loved ones, unlike other jobs with Saturday shifts. The flexible onsite days and working hours make it easier to recharge. I value the time spent at home with family. In my previous job, I worked mostly with senior colleagues, but here, I get to engage with younger people. It’s empowering to support the youngest team members and ensure they feel included and supported.

To young women accountants, enjoy life and don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Set realistic daily expectations, break tasks into smaller steps, and prioritize what’s urgent.
